perhaps at the time of making--about a third of the way down on the right side: perfectly executed

with just a tiny bit of loss to the gilding around the rim

The box is in excellent overall condition

This very fine one, with lovely bouquet and pretty gold border, is justifiably signed on the back: Blanche Wood (what a name!) from Cornish, New Hampshire, 1949. Good for holding
