but this piece closely resembles the work of Graciella Laffi from the 1950s-60s

and definitely very sweet

and I think it is the degree to which they take themselves seriously as portraits that I find so appealing

This vase, signed with what appears to be Turner on the bottom, would be fantastic for a giant peony or lily, or a sprig of lilac. In excellent vintage condition, with no visible flaws whatsoever. 6 widest diameter, 4 3 4 tall; 3 1 2 across at base; 1 2 at opening.
